About Us

HighKey Camera Straps are made in the USA and was founded in early 2009. At the time, we were all studying at Brooks Institute of Photography in Southern California. We spent every waking minute with our cameras (and still do!) and realized how boring and similar the camera straps were which came with our cameras. Every time we went out shooting, we were advertising for these major camera brands when we should have been wearing straps that matched our style, or advertised our own websites. We wanted more than the average, dull looking camera straps that we, and millions of other photographers were wearing. 

Today, HighKey Camera straps is (to our knowledge) the only place where you can truly design your own camera straps. We're one of the best selling camera strap sites on the internet, and we strive to make each and every photographer shed themselves of their ugly stock straps. We're all about options.

HighKey is run by a team of photographers who love working for you and who all hold a high standard for excellence and an eye for design. We strive for quality and outstanding customer service, and our goal is to equip photographers around the world with camera straps that fit their style and mood. Through our products and designs, we hope to supply you with the tools you need to do what you do, and do it with flare!
